Tracker WIP
this work is exhausting... terrible puns aside it's hand painted so the color could probably use some more attention.

Tracker WIP
I've been working on this for a long while on and off. It's almost done and so it's time to tease the project.

Assassin WIP
Work in progress or is that, man at work? keeping things simple. haven't tidied things up as far as naming goes. I think this a quick test to help a friend with something.

Assassin WIP
A Challenge for my own little group of local cg artists to do a game based fanart project in a 2 week budget. off hours.

Assassin WIP
With the assassin project I wanted to forgo all materials and texture everything by hand. it's reasonable at this point...

Assassin WIP
I can do low poly. really I can, I swear!

Kelly WIP
A better eye, at least that's what I Attempted to do.

Kelly WIP
Another teaser Of the Kelly project. This will probably not stay this way for too long.

Kelly WIP
a few skin details, sure to get changed again and again until I'm happy with the result. good thing this is just a practice run.

Kelly WIP
The devil is in the details. and I think that devil ran off with them in this shot :p

Kelly WIP
After having done a few things to brush up on some needed skills, I thought I could give likeness' another shot. I'm undoubtedly terrible with them but hey, like Temba, I will try and try again.

Alien City WIP
My first attempt at speed modeling. I have a bunch to learn regarding this so expect more.

City Warrior
Driven by an unending war, they consolidated their cities defense and offense into a single creation. An entire populace digitized into a single machine, it's capabilities, immeasurable.

Blazing Pinto
At last, a final render. As with every final render, I've seen some things I can improve on but hopefully for another project.

Blazing Pinto
The very first texture test. After which I promptly lost the work and had to start again. Lessons in life are sometimes hard and sometimes harder still.

Blazing Pinto WIP
Happy with the Layout I check the silhouette to confirm it looks interesting. Turns out I found it interesting enough to make a teaser out of it.

Blazing Pinto WIP
Somethings changed. Something minute but still great enough to test with. even though I'm testing something in this I'm still trying out shots for the final render.

Blazing Pinto WIP
Testing camera angles while you work is the best way to find that final shot.

Blazing Pinto WIP
The sister image to the last image. I used a different material to get a sense of how I wanted to weigh the musculature of the Blazing Pinto. I decided the former was better suited to the project.

Blazing Pinto WIP
having done some texturing for the shrub, ground, grass and rock it's time to play with some material settings to get a sense of what I'm aiming for once again.

Blazing Pinto WIP
Checking to see the coverage of the foliage works. I try to make sure everything is balanced well.

Blazing Pinto WIP
A tree, all be it a little tree. A very little tree. A shrub, I think, they call it. In all it's glorious shrub-ness.

Blazing Pinto WIP
The Rock! No seriously, this the rock in raw poly format for the scene. thinking it looks decidedly rock-esque for my very first attempt at rocking. I mean modeling a rock.

Blazing Pinto WIP
The layout being tested, hopefully I've captured a sense of energy in the pose and given it some purpose with the layout.

Blazing Pinto WIP
Strong foundations make for great works but just look at that sand :D

Blazing Pinto WIP
Is it just me or does this look like a drag racing horse with those stubby front legs? Mirroring wasn't an option for this so I set about blocking the anatomy on this reverse side.

Blazing Pinto WIP
Ripped straight from the hilt of the The Revolver the Blazing Pinto started out life on another project. Only one side was necessary for The Revolver, this was that same side with a bit more attention to detail and reference for anatomy.

The Revolver
lighting tweaks for days and nights, along with some material tweaks. A few position changes and minor camera movements. The 1860 Colt Navy inspired black powder percussion revolver is finished. Well, for now.

The Revolver WIP
Finishing up the accessories with a bit of color to get a better idea of whether it will fit with the now nearly complete revolver.

The Revolver WIP
Rendering before you are done with the project may seem like a waste but it can be great for identifying holes in your work. The revolver was looking good but I had no idea percussion revolvers existed before I did this project. You probably neither. so I set about creating some content to better describe the revolver.

The Revolver WIP
Being satisfied with your work and not sharing it is an almost complete waste of time. Time for a teaser then, and a new Facebook wall to boot.

The Revolver WIP
With the design and work done it's time to texture... I mean render with no intention of using the materials for the final render just so I can get a better look at my hard work.

The Revolver WIP
Progressing quickly now that the techniques have been established and the plan is in place to stay. Well, relatively quickly.

The Revolver WIP
Whahey, what do you know. once I get the hang of the new horizon I can stick to a plan.

The Revolver WIP
Sticking to the plan. Well the new plan, after the new plan. sorta. whenever your doing something to expand your horizon it's difficult to plan well, so don't plan to stick to your plan.

The Revolver WIP
Just as you take a step forward you gotta backtrack and redo the thing you did before. Practice makes perfect

The Revolver WIP
Getting a little closer to my original plan with more planning.

The Revolver WIP
Having already diverged from my original plan, I planned out how I would next diverge from it.

The Revolver WIP
The work Has Started. At this point I had no idea how much work I was in for

The Revolver WIP
Finally Satisfied with the silhouette of the Colt Navy inspired revolver I sketched out a rough(read very rough) idea of how I wanted it to look.

Ministry Exhibit
A trade show exhibit I drew up for a proposal.

Temba WIP
There once was a little boy who tried his best at everything. When he failed he tried again and again.

Temba WIP
Designed to be expressive and easy to animate on really tight time budget. I was just a little satisfied with the result. Maybe a little too satisfied.

Wolf
A shoutout to a buddy of mine. Mike!

SpaceMan
no relation to the song but probably heavily influenced by Space Engineers. An exercise in depth, distance and separation. I have a ways to go.

Ed
My First Car. Called her Ed. short for Edwina. She wasnt pretty but we had a lot of fun together.

Living Room Sketch
A view of my living room from some odd perspective. this was an exercise in Lighting and Perspective drawing. The composition is entirely fictional but the content could all be found in my living room at some point.

Living Room Lighting
A view of my living room from some odd perspective. This was an exercise in Lighting and Perspective drawing. The composition is entirely fictional but the content could all be found in my living room at some point. I particularly liked the Lighting only on this one.

SuperMassive Gaming
My current Gaming clan and all the logo's I've made for it so far. If you don't know Warframe, it's the reason behind the lotus motif in so many clan logo's.

Charlie Sheen
Probably not the best role model but I loved his work on set. First favorite Actor.

Clan CoC Logo's
All the Logo's I've made for my first Gaming clan.

Ifrit WIP
Crawling from beneath, the fire within the demon growing stronger with each breath it takes. consuming the very earth it walks upon in mere minutes it will be unstoppable.

Fluffy
Created for my team mate and fellow gamer going by the name of Fluffy. I love the irony of a werewolf called Fluffy.

September Spring Bass
I poster I designed for a DB Drag competition at nightclub. I really like the way it turned out with the Silhouettes of the girls and the DJ set off against the tripy Backdrop.
